Oracle and OpenAI said on October 27, 2026 that they had expanded their partnership with a set of artificial intelligence products, including a free-to-start package for small businesses that provides $12,000 in Oracle cloud credits a year, according to Small Business Trends.
The announcement was made at Oracle AI World in Las Vegas. It puts OpenAI's ChatGPT, Codex and other models inside Oracle's applications, databases and cloud infrastructure, with the stated aim of automating workflows, building software, improving cybersecurity and running operations from fewer systems.
The small-business package, called the Oracle AI SMB Bundle, combines several technologies. Oracle described it as free-to-start and said terms, conditions and restrictions apply; the company did not detail eligibility rules or say whether all included services are covered by the credits.
Other pieces include Oracle AI Workspace, which lets employees retrieve business data and run approved workflows through ChatGPT plugins connected to Oracle Fusion Applications, NetSuite, Oracle AI Database and OCI; Oracle AI Security Mesh, a managed service that uses OpenAI models to find vulnerabilities across cloud and on-premises systems; and Oracle App Composer, which uses Codex to build applications without extensive coding. Oracle also introduced APEXlang.
Clay Magouyrk, chief executive of Oracle, said OpenAI is "transforming how enterprises solve business problems." Oracle did not give launch dates or pricing for the individual offerings.
