HUSK, a preventative wellness technology company based in Wayne, Pennsylvania, said on Nov. 5, 2026, that it had launched HUSK Wellness, a single platform that combines healthy-living programs with clinical care already covered under employer health plans.
The company, which sells to self-funded and fully insured employers as well as health insurers, said the product pulls together rewards, challenges, a marketplace, nutrition counseling and mental health care into one personalized experience for each worker. Onboarding is handled by a wellness assistant called Poppie, which asks employees about their goals and preferences and then assembles an individual plan, according to the announcement distributed by PR Newswire.
HUSK said employers using the platform can view participation data, return on investment, and how engagement relates to costly claims such as emergency room visits and chronic condition spending.
Erin Markowski, president and chief executive of HUSK, said employers have bought wellness services one vendor at a time, leaving benefits unused and no clear link to medical costs. Registered dietitians and licensed therapists are often already covered by the health plan, she said, and the aim is to get employees to use that care.
Samantha Chase, head of product, said the platform is built around employee choice rather than prompts to participate.
HUSK, which operates under parent company Volaris, said it has worked with employers on workforce wellness for three decades. The product is available now to employers and insurance partners.
