Applications are open for the 2026 Miami group of Inner City Capital Connections (ICCC), a business program run by the nonprofit Initiative for a Competitive Inner City (ICIC), according to a GlobeNewswire release dated October 9 and carried by The Manila Times.
Participants begin with an in-person Opening Seminar on October 27 and then spend five months in live online sessions, self-paced coursework, coaching and peer meetings. ICCC targets established small business owners. ICIC said qualifying businesses pay nothing to take part, thanks to funding from Bank of America and FedEx.
Graduates will be able to pitch at a closing in-person event, competing for $5,000 in total prizes. ICIC said space is limited.
The release pointed to Liaisons Corporation of Miami as an example of a company that grew after working with ICIC. Founder Susanne Birbragher went through the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program, where ICIC serves as national recruiter, and the company was later named to ICIC's Inner City 100 list of fast-growing businesses. Liaisons has offices in Miami and Mexico City and runs corporate events and group trips in more than 70 cities in 30 countries.
ICIC was founded in 1994 by Harvard Business School professor Michael E. Porter.
