TSS Photography, a national franchise that handles school, youth sports and event photography, was included on Franchise Business Review's 2026 list of top franchises for veterans, the company said on November 5, 2026.
Franchise Business Review, a market research firm that measures how satisfied franchisees are with their brands, built the 2026 ranking from survey responses collected from more than 2,000 franchise owners who had served in the military. The questionnaire covered leadership, training and support, day-to-day operations, the relationship between owners and the franchisor, and financial prospects.
Michelle Rowan, president of Franchise Business Review, said discounts and perks aimed at veterans are simple to promote, but "what really matters is how the relationship plays out after the paperwork is done." The firm publishes the survey results for prospective owners weighing which system to join.
TSS franchisees run local operations, hiring staff, courting customers in their markets and handling picture-day work, with the franchisor supplying technology, products, marketing and training.
Garrett Davis, TSS Photography success and growth manager, said traits such as discipline and accountability carry over from service into running a business, and that the company's role is to pair those with established systems and support.
