Boomi has acquired Elementary Data, an Israeli maker of data observability software, for roughly $43 million, Israel Defense reported on October 20, 2026.
Elementary's tools flag faults in data before they reach analytics dashboards, business operations or AI models, tracking freshness, volume and quality and tracing errors back to their origin. The startup was founded by chief executive Maayan Salom and Or Avidov, its chief product and technology officer. It had raised $8.5 million by the close of 2022 from backers including TLV Partners, Cowboy Ventures and Y Combinator.
The company started with a free open-source monitor for data pipelines, which it said draws more than 1.1 million downloads a month, and released a paid version, Elementary Cloud, in 2024. More than 1,500 data teams use the technology, the company said, with Fiverr and Patagonia among its paying customers.
Boomi, whose platform links software and systems for over 30,000 customers, plans to fold the technology into its Enterprise Platform and said the commercial and open-source products will keep running without immediate changes. The purchase follows Boomi's deals for two other Israeli firms, Rivery and Lunar.dev. Elementary's 17 staff, all in Israel, are joining Boomi.
