Papa Murphy's Pairs Pizza With Pinkberry In Three New Franchise Deals
Three operators signed on for a dual-brand store combining Take 'n' Bake pizza and frozen yogurt in Oregon, New Mexico and Utah.

Papa Murphy's said on October 7, 2026 that it has signed three franchise agreements for stores that house both its Take 'n' Bake pizza business and the Pinkberry frozen yogurt chain, according to a company announcement distributed by PR Newswire.
The Vancouver, Washington-based chain said Joshua and Samantha Kimzey will open their first store in each system in Sunriver, Oregon, with an opening expected in early November 2026. In Santa Fe, New Mexico, franchisee John Perea plans to add Pinkberry to a Papa Murphy's he has operated since 2010. Casey Kauer, who runs five Papa Murphy's stores in Utah, will build a combined location in West Haven, Utah, slated to open in the summer of 2027.
The company said the shared-site format lets operators spread real estate, labor and operating costs across two revenue streams. Ray Zandi, who oversees U.S. development at owner MTY Food Group, said the two chains' opposite busy seasons help smooth sales through the year and could shorten the time it takes owners to recoup their investment.
Perea said the combined store should support eight to 10 employees year-round.
Papa Murphy's says it has close to 1,000 company-run and franchised stores in the United States, plus outlets in Canada and the United Arab Emirates.
