A name borrowed from a New Hampshire mountain

Mt. Major Tech, a security integrator based in Chichester, New Hampshire, took its name from Mt. Major, a peak in the state, according to its website, which says the company was founded to give customers a "summit-level" view of security that it describes as comprehensive, clear and unshakeable. The company says it serves residential and commercial clients across New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine and Vermont, with mobile units equipped for larger installations across the region.

Four categories of security work

The company's website organizes its work into four categories. Access management covers keycard systems, mobile credentials and enterprise access platforms. Video surveillance covers high-definition and AI-enabled cameras with cloud recording and video analytics. Intrusion defense covers commercial alarm systems, motion detection and perimeter security with around-the-clock alerting. System integration, the fourth category, is described on the site as unifying access control, video and alarms into one platform so a client can manage and respond to all three from a single hub.

Positioning itself as the local option

Mt. Major Tech describes its technicians as local specialists who understand the security needs and environmental conditions of the Northeast, and says its work continues after a system is installed through ongoing maintenance and technical support. The company says every system it designs is engineered for the specific building and operational workflow of the client it is serving, rather than one standard package applied everywhere.

Mt. Major Tech's customer base includes commercial facilities, industrial sites and schools as well as homeowners, spread across New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine and Vermont, according to its website. The company also says it offers a customer login so clients can manage their own systems, alongside phone, online scheduling and message-based contact options, and that it responds quickly once a client reaches out.
