Dub, a New York-based social investing platform, has launched an artificial intelligence investing assistant called Arlo, founder and chief executive Steven Wang said in an as-told-to interview published by Entrepreneur on November 5, 2026.
The company lets users publish their own stock portfolios and lets other customers automatically mirror those trades. Dub has powered $2 billion in trades, according to Entrepreneur. Wang said 400 to 500 users have launched portfolios, with a $10,000 minimum investment required to publish one, and that 20 are designated premium creators who can charge an asset management fee after meeting performance and interview requirements. Dub charges an $89.99 annual subscription and takes a share of premium creators' management fees.
Wang said the company raised a Series A of more than $30 million in 2025, and that building a regulated brokerage took about two and a half years because of approvals required from FINRA and the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Wang sold a virtual reality startup, Realism, while in high school and worked as an engineering product manager at Apple at 18. He enrolled at Harvard in the fall of 2020 and later left to build Dub. He said investors in Dub include founders and chief executives from Uber, Airbnb, Robinhood and Kalshi.
Work on Arlo began about a year before the launch, Wang said.
