Halfpricesoft.com said on October 13, 2026 that it has released an updated version of its ezPaycheck payroll software with an IRS-authorized module for filing Form 941 directly with the agency, according to a company announcement distributed by PR Newswire.

The update comes ahead of the November 2, 2026 deadline for third-quarter payroll tax reporting by employers. E-filing is priced per form starting at $5.95, with discounts for businesses submitting larger volumes.

ezPaycheck runs on Windows and Mac and costs $169.00, with a version released each calendar year that includes updated forms and tax tables. The company said new users can try the software for 30 days without a credit card or registration.

"Filing Form 941 accurately and on time is essential to avoid IRS penalties," said Dr. Ge, founder of Halfpricesoft.com, who added that the software was built for users without an accounting background.

Based in Redmond, Washington, and founded in 2003, Halfpricesoft.com sells tax and accounting software to small businesses, nonprofits and accounting professionals. Its lineup also includes ezAccounting, ezW2, ez1099, ez1095 and ezACH.
