Elon Musk crossed back above $1 trillion in personal wealth, with Forbes' real-time billionaire tracker valuing his fortune at $1.007 trillion on October 13, 2026, according to Tuko News. His net worth had slipped below the trillion-dollar mark during an earlier stretch of volatility.

Musk first reached the level on June 12, 2026, the day SpaceX began trading on the Nasdaq. The rocket and satellite company's shares opened at $150 and passed $165 in the first half-hour of trading, pushing its market value above $2 trillion and lifting Musk's holdings to $1.1 trillion. Forbes called him the first trillionaire and the richest person on record.

Jeff Bezos ranked second at $378.3 billion after losing $2.6 billion on the day of the tracking. Bezos left the chief executive role at Amazon in 2021 and still holds a large stake in the retailer, which also operates the Amazon Web Services cloud unit.

Alphabet shareholders Larry Page and Sergey Brin placed third and fifth, at $288.8 billion and $265.7 billion. Seven of the 10 richest people made their money in technology, and the group's combined wealth topped $3.1 trillion.
