The National Academy of Athletics said on October 13, 2026 that it has launched a franchise called Austin North, covering Williamson County, Texas. The territory takes in Leander, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Hutto, Round Rock and nearby towns, according to a company announcement distributed by EIN Presswire.
The franchise will base its indoor programming at 22 Yards in Leander, a venue originally built for indoor cricket that has since been adapted for other sports. The facility brought in the National Academy of Athletics to add youth sports offerings, the company said. An indoor site allows programs to run on a steady schedule regardless of weather.
The franchise plans camps, clinics and after-school sessions for children ages 3 to 14, open to beginners and more experienced young athletes, delivered through arrangements with municipalities, schools and community groups.
"Our focus is building strong partnerships with cities, schools and community organizations to give more kids access to quality youth sports," said Aaron Locks, chief executive and founder of the National Academy of Athletics.
The company said schedules, registration details and further partnership announcements will follow as programs become available. The National Academy of Athletics runs youth sports programs in communities around the country.
