Pulsenmore Ltd. said on Oct. 13, 2026, that it has appointed David Woods as chief commercial officer and is expanding its U.S. commercial team as it builds out operations in the American health care market, according to a company announcement distributed by PR Newswire.
Woods has more than 25 years of experience in medical technology and most recently was chief commercial officer at Creo Medical. He previously held senior roles at PENTAX Medical, including president and chief executive of PENTAX Medical Americas.
Pulsenmore, based in Ramat Gan, Israel, and listed on both Nasdaq and the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, makes patient-operated ultrasound systems that let pregnant women scan at home while physicians interpret the images remotely. The company said it launched U.S. commercial operations after receiving FDA De Novo authorization for its home prenatal ultrasound system and has entered a collaboration with Ouma Health.
The company said it is targeting gaps in maternal care in rural and underserved areas and is examining opportunities tied to the federal Rural Health Transformation Program, which backs state-led efforts to improve rural health care access, including maternal health services.
"We believe the U.S. market presents a significant opportunity for Pulsenmore," said Elazar Sonnenschein, chief executive and founder of the company.
