Wonder, the food delivery and restaurant technology company started by Marc Lore, said on November 5, 2026 that it had confidentially submitted paperwork for an initial public offering, TechCrunch reported. The company has not disclosed how many shares it intends to sell or a target price range.
Lore, who earlier built Jet.com and Diapers.com, launched Wonder in 2018. The business runs food hall-style sites where diners order from several restaurant brands in one app, and it controls cooking, delivery, pickup and in-person dining itself.
In July 2026, Wonder said it had raised more than $650 million at a valuation of roughly $9 billion. Backers include Accel, GV, AllianceBernstein and ARK Invest, according to TechCrunch.
The company has grown partly by buying other businesses, among them Blue Apron, Grubhub, Tastemade and the kitchen robotics firm Spyce, which supplies automation for food preparation. Wonder plans to open more than 100 sites in Texas by the end of 2027.
Other initiatives include Wonder Create, which uses artificial intelligence to help food entrepreneurs and online creators build restaurant brands and menus, and a $425 million arrangement with DoorDash covering a campus dining operation at 450 colleges and universities and other sites. Wonder competes with DoorDash and Uber Eats.
