Fashion Bomb Daily will stage the first Los Angeles edition of The Bomb Fashion Show on October 14, moving an event it has run during New York Fashion Week since 2020 to the West Coast, the company said in an announcement distributed on October 13 by PR Newswire.
The invitation-only show, scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m., is presented by Cadillac and will feature collections from emerging designers. Cadillac's electric vehicles, including the ESCALADE IQL, OPTIQ, LYRIQ and VISTIQ, will be displayed as part of the staging. The event is being produced by Mirror Digital, which works with Fashion Bomb Daily on technology and commercial partnerships, together with Carat.
Fashion Bomb Daily was founded in 2006 by journalist Claire Sulmers and covers multicultural style through editorial content, its online shop and live events. The site belongs to The Scene, a publisher network operated by Mirror Digital that handles its digital presence and monetization.
"For the past 20 years, Fashion Bomb Daily has worked to create access and a platform for talented designers who deserve greater visibility in the industry," said Sulmers, founder and chief executive of the company.
David Mogensen, chief marketing officer of Cadillac, and Sheila Marmon, founder and chief executive of Mirror Digital, also commented on the partnership. Cadillac is a brand of General Motors.
