Hungry Howie's, the Madison Heights, Michigan-based pizza chain, said in October 2026 that it has again swapped its standard pizza boxes for pink ones at locations nationwide, the 17th year of its Love, Hope & Pizza campaign for National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc.
The campaign runs through October 30, with a portion of proceeds from each pizza sold going to the foundation to fund free mammograms and early detection programs, according to the International Franchise Association. Customers can also round up their bills at checkout, a program the company said continues year-round.
Since the campaign began in 2009, it has raised more than $5 million for the foundation, including more than $412,000 in 2025, the company said.
Hungry Howie's is also holding a mobile mammogram event at the SAY Detroit Family Health Clinic with the Henry Ford Mobile Mammogram Unit, the third year for the event and the second straight year at the clinic. Of the 36 women screened there in 2025, one required additional treatment, which the clinic covered.
"Seventeen years in, our franchisees and customers continue to show up for this cause," said Steve Jackson, chief executive of Hungry Howie's.
The chain, known for its Flavored Crust pizza, is approaching 500 stores in 19 states.
