Intuit Inc. said on October 15, 2026 that it had reached a deal to buy Sequence, a Series A company whose software automates billing and revenue workflows from quote to collection, according to a statement distributed by Business Wire. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The purchase is aimed at Intuit's mid-market products, including Intuit Enterprise Suite and QuickBooks Online Advanced. Sequence's platform handles pricing, invoicing, collections and revenue recognition for contracts tied to usage, consumption, seats or project milestones — areas Intuit said often push growing companies toward traditional ERP systems.

Ashley Still, executive vice president and general manager of Intuit's Small Business & Mid-Market Group, said the deal would let the company serve industries such as B2B software and professional services that increasingly bill on AI consumption models.

Sequence was founded in 2021 and operates from London and New York, selling to finance teams at software and services companies. Its staff, including co-founder and chief executive Riya Grover, will join Intuit's mid-market product organization. Grover said revenue management has been "the most fragmented workflow in the back office."

Intuit said it would keep supporting existing Sequence customers after the transaction closes and plans to build a combined product in the months that follow.
