Oracle NetSuite has introduced NetSuite QuickStart, a free financial management product built around artificial intelligence and aimed at founders of early-stage technology companies, the company said in an interview published by Small Business Trends on October 14, 2026.

The software automates routine accounting work such as paying bills, invoicing customers, matching payments and reconciling bank accounts, and tracks startup measures including burn rate, runway, cash position and monthly recurring revenue. An assistant called Ask Oracle answers questions in plain language, and the product supports the Model Context Protocol, so founders can query their books and create records from outside AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude.

Josh Goodwin, who leads QuickStart as a group vice president at Oracle NetSuite, said setup is self-service and AI-guided, with founders able to upload a business plan or investor deck, or point the system at their website, to configure the product in minutes. Founders choose how much authority the AI has, from suggestions only to automatic categorization and coding of expenses, and decisions can be reversed, he said. Alerts can be sent through Slack, SMS, email or a connected AI tool.

Goodwin said the aim is to start companies on NetSuite before they outgrow other systems, pointing to 20% growth in startups between 2025 and 2026. Access through MCP can be limited to read-only or read-write using OAuth or token-based authentication. The initial release is limited to technology startups.
