Dickey's Barbecue Pit to Open McAllen Location Inside Cambria Hotel
The digital-focused restaurant will be run by franchisee O'Reilly Hospitality Management and serve pickup, delivery and catering orders.

Dickey's Barbecue Pit will open a restaurant in McAllen, Texas, on October 27, 2026, extending the barbecue chain's presence in South Texas, the brand said in an announcement carried by Franchising.com.
The outlet will operate inside the Cambria Hotel at 701 S. Ware Road under franchisee O'Reilly Hospitality Management, LLC. It follows a non-traditional format built around digital orders rather than dine-in service, with customers placing orders through the company's website and mobile app or through third-party platforms including Uber Eats, DoorDash and ezCater. Pickup, delivery and catering will be available, and daily service hours run from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Tim O'Reilly of O'Reilly Hospitality Management said the location is designed to serve families, businesses and events in a format he described as "fast, convenient" for group orders.
The McAllen store will carry the chain's standard menu, including brisket, pulled pork and sides.
Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. was started in 1941 by Travis Dickey.
